About Gila Pfeffer
Gila Pfeffer is an award-winning author, speaker, and breast cancer prevention advocate. Her memoir, Nearly Departed, brings humor and honesty to life’s hardest moments. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Tablet Magazine, and more. A previvor and survivor, Gila leads the “Feel It on the First” campaign, using playful, eye-catching images to promote breast health awareness. She lives in New York City and London.
