The bedtime Shema is said just before going to sleep, even by those who already said Shema during Evening Services. There are various customs as to what is included in this prayer, with some just saying one paragraph of Shema and Hamapil with selected verses, and others adding many pages. The following selection, as found in the Chabad Siddur, is one of the most comprehensive.
